James F. Holtzclaw, M.D.

James F. Holtzclaw, M.D. James F. Holtzclaw, M.D. completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University in 1982 and his medical school education at Emory University School of Medicine in 1986. He completed his orthopaedic residency training at Duke University Medical Center in 1992 and subsequently completed an AO Trauma Fellowship in Innsbruck, Austria and Bern, Switzerland. Dr. Holtzclaw maintains a strong interest in orthopaedic trauma and adult reconstruction. He also has a strong interest in total joint replacement surgery including hips, knees, shoulders and elbows. He maintains active appointments at Memorial University Medical Center and Mercer University School of Medicine. His orthopaedic practice started in Savannah in 1992 and he joined Chatham Orthopaedic Associates, P.A. in 1995.
