John T. Prather, M.D. John T. Prather, M.D. grew up in Savannah, Ga and graduated from H.V. Jenkins High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He obtained his medical doctorate from the Medical College of Georgia and finished his general surgery internship at the University of Tennessee. He completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic and a foot and ankle fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center.
