Robert D. Hoffman, M.D.

Robert Dow Hoffman, M.D. received his medical degree from Duke University in 1994 and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Iowa in 1999. He then served four years as an orthopaedic surgeon in the United States Navy before joining Chatham Orthopaedic Associates, P.A. in 2003. Dr. Hoffman is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and specializes in surgery of the knee and shoulder, but maintains an active general orthopaedic practice. In addition, he provides medical care for the athletic teams, the Savannah College of Art and Design and several local high schools, and the Savannah SandGnats. Dr. Hoffman is the Former Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Memorial University Medical Center.
